Cinnamon Maple Tahini Overnight Oatmeal

Ok, you all said more recipes in the new year, so here’s one for ya!

Some mornings you just feel like starting off with a cozy bowl of oatmeal. Actually, I started thinking about it last night so I threw some things in a jar to make this Cinnamon Maple Tahini Overnight Oatmeal – overnight oats are such a time-saver! I’m currently obsessed with tahini salad dressing so why not put it in my oats?! Did you know tahini is one of the best sources of calcium out there? It also has 20% complete protein, making it a higher protein source than most nuts. True story.

Cinnamon Maple Tahini Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients:

1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk 1/2 TBL chia seeds 1/2 TBL hulled hemp hearts 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp pure maple syrup 1 TBL tahini 2 TBL Siggi’s 4% plain yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Throw everything in a Mason jar; shake, stir or whatever and put in fridge overnight.

  2. I heated mine up but this would be a great, FAST, grab-and-go breakfast too!

  3. I topped mine with some bloobs, a few semi-dried apricots (check these out – freezer section of Trader’s!), more Siggi’s, peanut butter (duh), hemp seeds and raw cacao nibs. YUM!

Enjoy!
