Chimichurri Sauce
This sauce is so good! I mean it’s really created for and best with a good juicy steak but I’ve managed to put it on everything I’ve made for the last week…eggs, turkey, fish, chicken. Yup, it’s official, good on everything! Best part? Throw it in a blender, mix it up and you are done. The ingredient amounts below are close estimates because I rarely measure when I cook and quite honestly, you can’t mess this up.
Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh cilantro
1 cup fresh parsley
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 medium onion
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend till smooth. THAT’S IT! Pour into a glass container and store in refrigerator for up to a week.
